In my work, I help individuals, teams and organizations get to the next level. Let’s talk first about individual leaders. One way I can help them is called the Leader Intensive. It comes in two versions: 24-hour and 1/2 day. Think of it as a personal health benchmark, when I quickly help the leader understand themselves in ways they haven’t before.
Stop, Assess, Understand, Develop
This “deep-dive” provides leaders with the opportunity to truly stop, assess their current reality, understand their core motivations and drivers, and develop a clear vision of their preferred future for every area of their lives.
The Leader Intensive takes time to mine out the issues from the past that have often been buried and forgotten; issues which have the capacity to dramatically impact a leader’s capacity to live into their preferred future. We also take time to evaluate the various character/skill challenges each leader will face based on their personality, core motivations, and core drivers. Each Leadership Intensive generates a Personal Development Plan (PDP) which clarifies expressed goals in relation to your leadership of self, family, team, and organization.
- 24-hours On Site. This sounds like what it is. We find a place away from the normal context of the leader–not at their office or home. We shut down devices, enjoy good meals, and sketch out your story. You will learn Predictive Leadership Behaviors which describe how you operate under stress and under extreme stress, and you learn new ways to stay healthy. Leaders return home with a palpable realization on how to do life and leadership better than ever before. Breakthrough is expected.
- 4-hour Leader Mini-Intensive (either on-line or in-person). Again, it sounds like what it is. We spend less time looking at the entire flow of the leader’s life, but we still hit hard the Predictive Leadership Behaviors, giving the leader a solid context from which to grow. An action plan is formed, and a follow-up appointment (online) is scheduled.
Rarely do leaders have a chance to truly look at themselves with fresh eyes. I’ve never had a leader regret participating in a Leader Intensive. Maybe it’s time for you to invest in yourself–or give this gift to someone you care about; the payoff is remarkable.
