(This is part 12 in the “There’s a Me in Team” series. Read part 11 here.)
One of this year’s big off-season stories in Wisconsin was that Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced he’s lactose intolerant. He’s not doing dairy anymore, even though he’s a dairy state hero. It took him this long to realize that he hasn’t been as healthy as he’s wanted to be, and with this diet change his belly doesn’t hurt as much.
We all know people like that, don’t we? People who didn’t know what was ailing them, but once they figured it out they had a brand new lease on life.
And we all know teams like that, too. Teams at work, teams at school, teams at home, teams at church. They aren’t as healthy as they could be, but if they could cure what’s ailing them–look out!
In this final installment of “There’s a Me in Team”, allow me to tell you how I can help. Our research shows that most teams only function at about 60% of their capability. I can help you narrow that gap, build that health, perform at an unimaginable level, and find the happy that’s been missing. Here’s how:
1.100X Teams Survey. We enlist an anonymous survey to find out how you are performing in the six major areas of team health (Alignment, Capacity, Performance, Relationship, Synergy, and Execution). This baseline will show you how to narrow the gap. I send you a link, you distribute it to your team/employees/members/participants, and they press “send”. It only takes a few minutes. It’s powerful.
2. Team Intensive. We get away for a day or more using the constructs described in this article. The jump-start experience is remarkable, bringing your team members to greater security, humility, and confidence.
3. 5 Voices 60-Day Challenge. I work with your team for 60 days, doing a deep dive into the leadership behaviors and tendencies of your key players. We work as a group to understand ourselves, our “Voices”, what it’s like to be on the other side of our leadership, and how to communicate better with our employees, families, and beyond. At the end of it all we join in an half-day Accelerator to infuse what we’ve learned into the organization. You will be amazed at what this does for creating a high performing environment.
4. 100X Teams 12-Month Journey. If you like what happened in 60 days, watch out. A year long journey, with a focus on key team members but with quarterly “Accelerators” through the entire organization. The cultural change is palpable. Two months into this you will see breakthrough, and after 12 months you won’t believe that you almost didn’t do this.
There you have it. Contact me and we’ll set up a time to talk it through. What are you waiting for? Cheese?
